 11月20日，德里國家首都轄區政府發布了關於11月和12月體育賽事的相關指示，要求所有賽事延期至稍晚的其他月份舉行。此政府指示必須嚴格執行。

有鑑於此，國際超馬總會不得不遺憾地發布通知，原定於2025年12月7日在印度新德里舉行的2025 IAU 50公里世界錦標賽將延期舉行。

此決定是在與印度田徑聯合會（AFI）和當地組委會（LOC）進行廣泛磋商後，並遵照政府最新指示做出的。大會理解運動員、教練和各協會為此付出的巨大努力和準備，但所有參與者的健康和安全始終是大會必須關注的首要任務。

錦標賽的新日期定於2026年3月14日星期六，地點相同。

我們理解這次延期對運動員與聯盟的影響，感謝您在我們面對這些變化時的耐心與理解。

鑑於此次延期，各協會可以修改其運動員名單。如果名單沒有變更（新增或刪除），則無需採取任何行動。但是，若希望做出任何調整，請確保於2026年1月31日前提交更新的最終報名表（FEF）。

Following our initial announcement on November 22, we would like to provide you with an update regarding the postponement of the 2025 IAU 50 km World Championships in New Delhi.

The new date for the Championships is Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the same location.

We understand the impact that this postponement has on athletes and federations alike, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these changes.

If your Federation wishes to make any adjustments, please ensure that the updated Final Entry Form (FEF) is submitted by January 31st, 2026.

On November 20th, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi published directions regarding sports events scheduled for November and December, mandating that these events be postponed to later months. This directive must be strictly complied with.

In light of this information, we regret to inform you that the 2025 IAU 50 km World Championships, originally scheduled for December 7, 2025, in New Delhi, India, has been postponed.

This decision was reached after extensive discussions with the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), in compliance with the recent government directive. While we recognize the significant effort and preparation invested by athletes, coaches, and federations, the health and safety of all participants must remain our highest priority.

The new date for the Championships will be communicated within the week.

In light of this postponement, federations will be permitted to modify their athletes’ lists. If there are no changes to your athletes’ list (addition or deletion), no action is required. However, if your federation intends to make changes, the updated Final Entry Form (FEF) must be submitted no later than December 21, 2025.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these challenging circumstances, and we look forward to welcoming you to New Delhi.
